1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the provision of skip hire services by Skip Hire Hainault. Our services are subject to these terms, and by using our services, you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Booking and Payments

2.1 Booking Process

  • All bookings must be made in advance via our online booking system or by phone.
  • Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your skip hire.

2.2 Payment Terms

  • Payments are due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
  • Invoices will be provided for all transactions.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking will receive a full refund.
  • For cancellations made after 24 hours but before delivery, a 50% cancellation fee applies.
  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made on the day of delivery.

4. Delivery and Pickup

4.1 Delivery

  • We strive to deliver skips at the agreed-upon time. However, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Please ensure that the delivery location is accessible and that there is adequate space for the skip placement.

4.2 Pickup

  • Once the hire period is complete, we will arrange for the collection of the skip.
  • Please ensure that the skip is not overloaded beyond its capacity to facilitate easy pickup.

5. Usage of Skip Container

Permitted Use:

  • Our skips are intended for the disposal of household and commercial waste only.
  • Prohibited items include hazardous materials, asbestos, tires, and certain electronics. A full list of prohibited items is available upon request.

Responsibility:

  • It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all contents of the skip comply with our usage guidelines.
  • Any costs incurred due to illegal or prohibited waste disposal will be the responsibility of the hirer.

6. Liability and Responsibility

6.1 Limitation of Liability

Skip Hire Hainault is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

6.2 Insurance

We recommend that clients have appropriate insurance coverage for their waste disposal activities. Skip Hire Hainault is not responsible for any damage or loss caused by the use of our skips.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in this region.

8. Amendments

Skip Hire Hainault reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
